I have been in education for over 27 years beginning my career in education as a Special Education Instructional Assistant. I have been a School Counselor at the Elementary School, Middle School, High School, and Alternative High School levels, a Behavior Manager for a County Office of Education, Juvenile Hall, A High School Leadership Teacher and Activities DIrector, A School Site Administrator, and School District Office Administrator servicing a diverse group of students in diverse school districts, in very diverse communities.

Helping students to overcome obstacles and advocating for them so that they have a positive school experience is my known reputation that I take pride in, and I believe in working with educators, community members, and families to address the needs of the whole child! We want kids in school everyday, learning the social skills necessary to solve problems, so that they have a positive school experience and contribute to a safe and positive school culture and climate.
